The United Daughters of the Confederacy Room in the 1960s |
Although no one has ever lived at the Old State House, the museum has five parlors and one hallway depicting different eras of furniture and decorative styles ranging from the 18th to the early 20th centuries. These rooms are examples of some of the earliest exhibits in the museum and are also a tribute to the women in different patriotic organizations who fought to save the Old State House from destruction.
